Nebes Inn is based off an actual building located at Jefferson and East Clay Streets in Richmond, Virginia. According to the photographer: "On close inspection, you'll find that [the building is] not brick. It's actually a frame structure covered with pressed tin shingles stamped with a brick pattern.
